Martha Stewart's Checkerboard Cookies are so cute in the picture, but an unattainable goal that I did not achieve.
I don't know if it's the humidity of my kitchen, or lack there of, but the dough refused to come together. Martha, where did I go wrong?
Been contemplating dipping these babies in chocolate; chocolate makes everything better, from taste, to physical appearance... but that requires too much effort, so we'll just eat the cookies with milk and closed eyes ;-)
